(Asshuara’) 26 : 4
إِنْ نَشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ آيَةً فَظَلَّتْ أَعْنَاقُهُمْ لَهَا خَاضِعِينَ
If We had wished, We would have sent down a Sign to them from the sky by which their necks would remain as weak.
Every man is fastened with a Recording Book (Decree) on his neck which will not omit any thought, word, and deed as explained in verses 17: 13-14. That is why it is told in this verse that the Lord would have weakened the disbelievers' neck by sending down a Sign. The Arabic Quran reading Fujjar who have made their food ‘rejecting Adhikr’ will be bearing evil deeds on their neck which make their neck weaken on the Day of Judgment. But the believer who testifies Adhikr will be upright on the Straightpath. See explanation 6: 31; 16: 123 and 20: 99-101.
